Air Quality - Air Quality News

The Sierra Club of South Carolina is worried about a proposed Municipal Waste Incinerator planned for development in Chester County.  This incinerator will have the capacity to burn 1600 tons of waste a day.  We are concerned about the amounts of toxins, specifically mercury, that will be released into the environment once this incinerator is built.  Click here to view additional information and to find out how you can help.
