Not sure what you can do about the unfolding oil spill disaster? If you aren't able to get down to the Gulf coast to lend a hand, there are things that you can do here in your own state, in your own home.
The Sierra Club has two different events planned for the next few weeks to show our elected officials that we want them to move beyond oil in earnest.
You can plant a virtual flag by clicking here to move beyond oil. Just before the Fourth of July, the Sierra Club will plant actual flags in front of the Washington Monument that will declare our desire to be independent from oil.
