On August 1, 2011, the chapter ExCom passed a resolution against the development of the I-73 corridor connecting North Carolina to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  

We're asking members to send the commissioners letters (emails!) encouraging them to pursue less costly and more environmentally beneficial alternatives to a roadway that will destroy farmland, impact wetlands and kill many small business that rely on current traffic patterns.  You can find more information, and an automated form that will send letters to the commisioners by clicking here.
